I have been living in the United Kingdom for nearly 10 years. I have been coming to UK since 1996 as a student visitor. I’m now married with a six year old lovely daughter and baby son. We live in Cheshire not far from Manchester city centre. She is attending the prestigious Terra Nova School.
I graduated from Thammasat University in 2000, I had been accepted to study at University of Liverpool in MBA Music Industry. It was the first time that I had stayed away from home for more than 3 months. Unlike, when you come for a short period or summer course. Things are different when you have to live here for a long time. There are a lot of issues you need to consider carefully. You can find out more from my journey.

Pak is a materials Scientist working on research about fibre metal laminate based on polymer composite.
I am currently working as a lecturer at Dhonburi Rajabhat University, and a guess lecturer
at faculty of Engineering, Kasetsart University.
I got my first degree with honours in Materials Science from Chulalongkorn University, Thailand, in 1998. I finished my MSc from the Petroleum and Petrochemical College, Chulalongkorn Univeristy in 2000
I completed my Ph.D. from Department of Engineering, The University of Liverpool, UK, in 2004. I worked on the fracture properties and impact responses of novel lightweight sandwich structures at the Impact Research Centre.

I'm now based and work in Thailand. You can contact me anything regarding study and life in United kingdom. I have recently graduated from Chester University after completing a 3 year post graduate diploma in counselling. It is a BACP (British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy) accredited course and required a minimum of 120 hours of practice as well as professional assessment and continual monitoring.
I trained as a Nursery nurse when I left school, and have worked voluntarily for a local charity as a counsellor. I have also completed my NSPCC child protection training.
I enjoy travelling and meeting new people, and I’m glad that I can be part of Pom’s vision to help overseas students as well as their family with the sometimes difficult transition to study and live in the United Kingdom. I have experience of helping many international students with their dissertations, assisting with spelling and grammar, mainly for those studying a Masters degree. I’m familiar with Thai and Chinese culture having worked with a number of Thai people and worked in China and Taiwan for around 10 years. I have enjoyed visiting Thailand on a number of occasions.
